4. Use of personal data
Our offer can be used without you having to transmit personal data to us in advance. However, if you transmit personal data to us, it is completely voluntary and, in doing so, you give us your permission to process this data for the desired purpose (direct contact, newsletter, see below).
If you have feedback or questions or require information about our products and services, you may correspond with us by using our contact form. To be able to process your inquiry, we require certain information for you. These details are transmitted to the responsible employee and used exclusively to process your inquiry. For this purpose, you only have to complete the fields marked as mandatory.
Alternatively, you can contact us via e-mail, therefore transmitting to us your e-mail address as the sender.
If you would like to receive our latest news on a regular basis, you can subscribe to our newsletter. We use the double opt-in procedure: After registering with your e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail from us where you can confirm that you do indeed want to subscribe to the newsletter. Your e-mail address will be used only to process your newsletter subscription.
Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
5. Data transmission to third parties
We do not sell or lease any of your personal data. Data is only transmitted to third parties if this is required to process a legal transaction.
We also transmit data if we are legally obligated to do so. This is the case when state institutions (e.g. law enforcement agencies) ask for information or present a court order. No data is transmitted to third-party countries (outside the EU) or international organizations.
6. Storage period
We keep your data confidential. After your inquiry has been processed and the legally required period of data retention has expired, your data is routinely deleted from our systems.
7. Data subject rights
You can obtain information free of charge and at any time on if and what personal data from you we have stored. If this is the case, you also have the right to obtain information about the data, the purpose of its processing, the recipients (if data is transmitted) and its origin (pursuant to Art. 15 of the GDPR).
Furthermore, you have the right to correction (pursuant to Art. 16 of the GDPR), deletion (pursuant to Art. 17 of the GDPR), limitation of processing (pursuant to Art. 18 of the GDPR) of your personal data as well as the right to transfer your data (pursuant to Art. 20 of the GDPR).
You also have the right to revoke your consent to the processing (pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR). Moreover, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority (pursuant to Art. 77 of the GDPR).
We do not use automatic decision-making (profiling) based on your personal data.
9. Third-party services and content
As a part of our offer, we can present or refer to third-party content (e.g., maps from Google Maps, contributions on our YouTube channel, information on Twitter and Xing profiles). When accessing this content, your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider (referred to hereinafter as “third-party provider”). This is a technological necessity and happens whenever you access a website on the internet.
We do not have any influence as to whether the third-party provider stores your IP address or not.
Moreover, the third-party provider might obtain information from your browser regarding which page from our offer has led you to them. The third-party provider is responsible for how this information is used. We do not have any influence on this.
11. Automatically collected data
Server logfiles are automatically generated when using the offer.
These server logfiles contain a part of the data transmitted to us. Data such as the time and type of call, device ID or unique ID, device type, computer and connection information, reply times, browser type including version, reference URL, IP address and common weblog information is collected.
This anonymous data is stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject and serves the statistical evaluation and optimization of the operation and security of the site. Server logfiles are also generated and evaluated to identify illegal use or attacks and, therefore, to ensure data protection and security.
We have taken extensive technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data stored with us from unauthorized access or misuse. Our security procedures are regularly updated to state-of-the-art technology.
Our employees have been sworn to secrecy.
